Just wondering whether you guys can give any advice on the following...

I need to distribute a CD (or DVD I guess) with a video currently in Windows Media format (Windows media 7). I want to make sure as many people as possible can view it. I don't want them to have to download codecs (this may not be possible for the people due to security restrictions/internet availability and they may not have standard windows players such as media player) or really install anything (again, there are good reasons for this).

What kind of video format would be best? Would an autoplay executing the video be best - say some kind of GUI made in Delphi for example? Or perhaps is there a free utility I can use to run the video which wouldn?t require an install or special codecs? What kind of video format should I recommend?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Robin.
