I have a video/audio out of sync problem with every movie that I record from my VHS to my hard drive. (If you know of a solution so that I can record them properly, feel free to share, though it isn't the point of this thread)

I know that my problem is an audio stretch, because the movie only goes out of sync after 15-20 minutes (and it goes progressively worse). I want to burn the resulting .avi to a DVD, and according to the AVIinfo doc, this is the only program that is able to correct the synching problem and still allow me to burn the file to a DVD with the correct synching.

My problem is, the program won't work. I have windows XP. When I open AVinfo.exe, it just says "Please run by right-clicking on a .AVI file in windows explorer". Fine. I right-click my .AVI file, I see the "AVI information" option, and when I click it................ "Please run by right-clicking on a .AVI file in windows explorer".

I don't know what to do, please help if you can.
