original game works fine but HDD backup crashes

hi all i just bought a copy of project gotham racing 2 and with all my games i put them on my xbox hdd so they dont get scratched all my other games work fine except PGR2 when the game gets to loading the main menu i get a "dirty disc error" i have transfered all of the .XBE's off the Xbox hdd and patched them with craxtion 4 then put them back in to the PGR2 folder of my xbox hard drive

any suggestion's

you probably didnt copy your xbox game right if u are getting dise read erros
