Can you post the Nero log file from the failed write attempt? Just in case there was an error that occured before the Track Following Error message.

Track Following is 90% of the time a hardware error and usually caused by poor media, old firmware for the recorder, or a recorder in need of service.

But you could have had an error that occured before that, which then caused the Track following error message to be reported. But we would need to see the log file to be sure.

Be sure to edit out your Serial key before posting the log file.

Regards

Craig

Without more information like what brand of media are you using a log from Nero it would just be a guess.

A track following error is usually caused by poor quality disc's. What brand are you using? It could also be dirty disc's (Fingerprints, Etc.) Possibly a dirty laser lens. They make cleaning disc's.

You should upgrade to our latest Nero 5.5.10.56 from our website, but that will not resolve your issue.

You are only getting a 'Track Following Error' in the log file, so I strongly suspect your issue is media related.

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your recorder as well, but more than likely simply trying a different brand of DVD Media will resolve your issue.

Craig
