I am completely new to this but was just wondering what needs to be done next. I have ABC and have 2 movies downloaded but am now lost as to what needs to be done next. When i click on the sample file all I get is a blank screen with the audio. One movie is in .RAR and the other one is in R01, R02, R03, etc.
I downloaded the K-Lite codec Pack and installed it along with the Classic Media Player that came with it.
Also, the R10, R02, etc files along with the ones that are .rar will still need to be opened with winrar? Each file is 14649 KB in size. To me this doesn't appear to be compressed, but im used to winzip and the icons that appear with each file.
Any help from everyone is appreciated.
In fact, if people could help me with answers so that I can get to the final stage where I can veiw the movies i'd come up with a install manual with screen shots for future users.
Now look for the file named R00, right click it, and choose Extract here, then winrar will create a large file which will be the complete movie
Those file ARE compressed, but winrar cuts that large file into several files so it's easier to handle.
As for the codecs... if the movies you have are using the codecs you installed, then you'll have no problems to watch them, some times the movies use specific codecs, in those cases you'll have to look for them
