I have a chinese language avi file with its substitles as a separate rar file. Uncompacted, the rar became a 6+MB .sub file and an idx file. These are now in their own folder.

I use tmpgenc3xp to covert to mpg. How do I get English subtitles onto my mpg before using TmpgencDVD Author to convert to dvdr?

I have Subtool 26 which can convert these subs to other formats (.srt?), but the program says my .sub file is not a sub file.

Never done this before, thanks for the help.
