I bought these from Amazon recently and I just started using them. They are not manufacturered by Ricoh or even lowly CMC Mag! They are made by InfoDisc! What's the point of paying for name-brand media if they are going to just put a Memorex label on some third-rate maker? People have already claimed compatibility issues, so unless you want to chance it, I say you get what you pay for.

I have been using Memorex +R/RW for awhile. Probably 150 in the last couple of months. They work fine. There was one disk that was bad. What ever I backed up would skip near the end. I noticed on the disk there was an imperfection near the outside ring of the disk and I think that was the problem. The rest have been great. I have been buying them from Buy.com and Amazon for about $17-19 for a pack of 25. I have also used Philips -R with good results. I bought a 25 pack of Value Disk +R from Office Max and every one of them is garbage. All coasters. I wish I knew which Ridata's to get. I've seen some deals from Meritline. But I hear some bad things about there disks every now and then. I would like to buy a 100 stack of something good in +R for about $32 someplace. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. I will get them. I found them a little cheaper at A2Z Computer. They are $36.00 plus $6.48 for shipping brings it to $42.48. Thanks again for the info.
