How to install backups on HDD??

Hi!
I have got a HDD in my PS2. The problem is that neither HD-Loader or HD-Advance lets me install backup games on the HDD. Why is this and is there a way around this problem?? Installing originals are no problem, but with backups it just says "not a PS2 cd or dvd".
I hope somebody can help me...

I'm not sure why, but here is the solution.

Download WinHIIP for the PC. Put the drive in your PC and use WinHIIP to install to your drive. Then put it back in your PS2.

As long as Playstation doesn't first :D
