Nero / Pinnacle PCTV / DVD Player errors

Have a new Io/Magic 16x DVD dual layer DVD everything.
(1) Pinnacle PCTV capture card comes up witha vision.exe error after my Nero OEM (which came with the burner) is installed.
(2) Go to Nero site, upgrade to the 63125, now PCTV is ok, the DVD player (C:\WINNT\system32\dvdplay.exe) no longer is playing the sound from my DVD movies.
(3) Rollback to Nero OEM, the Pinnacle Application Error (ox66812040 referenced memory at ox66812040. The memory could not be "read" returns.
Need help. Anyone got any? Thanks in advance.
