Hi all

I've moved to Belgium and want to get sky in as the TV is naff.

I've been given the following quote but a quick look on the internet makes it look pricey.

60 cm dish Triax =£104
Sky digital satellite receiver =£276
Recupel =£4
Fitting and Installation =£163
Coax =£6
Total =£553

If i want a Pace DS430N that pushes the total price to £588, whilst is I want a sky+2600 + twin inb the price goes up to
£829. Quite ridiculous!

Thats without the card!!!!!

On top of that theres a one off £100 fee for the smart card and a yearly admin fee of around £90.

Anyway been doing a bit of research (surfing) and have come up with my own costs of:

60 cm dish Triax =£41
digital receiver (DS420N) =£145
Fitting and Installation = Free as I will do it
Coax =£14 guessetimate need about 60m

I should be able to get a card from here for £120 http://www.skycards.uk.net/prices.html

Add £40 for other bits and pieces, connectors etc and the total is about £360.

has anyone done this in Europe or do they know of a good website for DIY satellite installation.
