Hi, I was just wondering how you would most recommend ripping DVD's for editing with FC Pro. At the moment I'm ripping the VOB files and importing them straight to FC Pro, but the quality's not really as good as it could be and whenever I alter the speed these annoying green lines appear at the bottom. Does anyone know a better way to do this?

You can use DVDxDV to transform VOB files into FCP-compatible Quicktime movies. It works well, though I would recommend setting the ins and outs a few seconds wider than you will need as sometimes there is some artifacting.

Yade X works really well for ripping the VOBs from the DVDs, particularly if you only need one or two scenes.
