Disc ID boots up, but nothing happens afterwards, HELP!!

ok, i've done everything according to the instructions, and the disc ID boots up with SM cd. But once I boot it up, I eject the disc and replace it with the game disc, and press x, nothing happens. I've tried to reburn it several times, the same thing happens. Someone please help!!

yes i get the screen. i just figured out what's wrong. I have a v10 ps2. I tried it on my v3, and it worked. But my v3 ps2 scratches the disc. So i would like to find a solution for loading the disc on my v10. Does anyone have to use a cdloader beta 7 or something to load the disc ID utility?
