Where could I post technical issues on Windows Media Player. Otherwise,

I am having a problem displaying video on Windows Media Player 10.

When the video opens it appears always in 16:9 mode. (widescreen) and with videos that are normally 16:9 they become even more thinner (ie: 20:5)

This has been happening ever since I installed MP10. I think its a resolution problem. I have to run in 1280x1024 so my screen isnt too clattered. I tried changing it to 1024x768 and played a video. All videos returned to their normal sizes.

I could run my computer in 1024x768, but it would become very annoying for other programs I use (since my LCD monitor is 17")

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9600 series (with the latest driver) and I have DirectX 9.0c.

Only MP10 shows this widescreen distortion, other programs (when running in 1280x1024) such as my ATI File Player show the videos in their correct size.

I am using Windows XP SP2
It occurs with all video, (saved on my computer and streaming from the net)
The one in particular format is WMV (AVI and MPEG as well)
Besides Media Player 10 I have: Quicktime, ATI File Player and Real Player
I have many codecs installed, (all latest versions of them)
I have a Radeon Driver and the ATI utility near the clock is always running.
