My sonic recordnow dx throws out errors!!!

Can someone please assist me. I have nero 5.5 and sonic recordnow dx as my burning software on my pc.I always used my recordnow software to make backups of movies bought,now all a sudden i find these errors half way after recording.I uninstalled the software, installed again,still same problem.I am too sceptic in using this software again as i have lost 10 verbatim azo dvd-r discs before.Now that i am using nero 5.5,with all guides i hope i could possibly find, i keep on creating images which hardly with nero i cant burn a discc to my burner.With decrypter after i shrunk the movie with dvd shrink,on last sector,about 98% of recording,i find that decrypter has retried recording last sector 20 times.What can be the problem that i have?? Please help.....and yes...i have all the guides i possibly could find on all(lol).
