ok here is my problem... i have copied a couple games " hot shots golf fore, and hitman contracts" i have seen that i need cdloader v7 "i do have a ps2 version 7" so i got that.. here is my problem and i think it might be because i have swap disc cd version 3.0 instead of 2.0.... anyways here is what i am doing and tell me if i should be doing something diff...
i put in my cd version swap disc and turn on my ps2, then a screen comes on saying "load:normal and under that it says video:normal" so then i open my flip top and insert the cdloaderv7 and hit x, next i wait till the screen comes up to insert disc and eject or fliptop open "either way isnt working" and insert my dvd version swap disc and in the bottm left it changes from ps2:cd to ps2:dvd then it says insert game using ea method, so i pop the top and insert my backed up game... then i get this red screen saying "insert playstation or playstaion 2 format disc" i have tried many different games and this cdloader thing isnt working for me.... i use ritek g04 at 1x using dvd decryptor... when i back up my other games they work fine it is just when they need this cdloader fix that they dont work.... in the step bt step i got offline it shows then using cd version 2.0 and it shows the insert disc like your flying through space... but mine dont show that only on my dvd 2.0!!!
any help would be appriciated.

ok to use cd loader try this way
1.boot swapmagic cd and swap for cd loader by flip/slide and press x
2. cd loader boots, press x to enter sub menu and scroll up/down to the 5v3 no pn option press x
3. press eject and swap for swap magic dvd press eject to send back in
4.wait for it to say ps2 dvd in lower left of tv screen,when that appears press x
5.wait for swap by ea method prompt at this point swap for backup game by flip/slide and press x
6. your game should now boot

if you can't get this to work it might be worth giving dvd loader a try it does exactly the same as cd loader except you burn it to a dvdr disc and boot it with your swapmagic dvd, you can get it from the link in my sig below
