I originally bought a premodded Messiah 1 PS2. It worked great for years then stopped. Now I use swap magic with my cover off. I am sick of swaping and stuff and want to go back to mod chip, especially with the advances since Messiah 1.

I have learned the last two years how to solder and feel pretty comfortable with it. However this would be my first PS2 soldering job. Any suggestions on soldering?

As for the chip, I do use HDAdvance off the memcard and would use it off the DMS4 memory if I can as well as other appz I want to use. However is there any reason to get it/not to get it, or to go with another modchip?

Thanks!
