i'm new to burning Ps2 backups on dvd-r and i was wondering if it matters what speed i burn it at?

ppl say that it is good to burn @ lowest speed...ive burned 3 games at max speed with no porblems @ all...

Thats what I was thinking... tho I had problems with burning DvD movies.. they skip alot when I burn at 2x but play perfect when I burn at 4x :S
