Mpeg2 file , this is text from gspot.
Cd 1.MPG Cd 1.MPG 833,671,148 MPEG (.MPG/.MPEG/.VOB) 1972 1 MPEG2_Video MPEG-2 Codec(s) are Installed 00:55:01 82532 480 576 0.83 5:6 25.000 2556 1.600 4:3 0xc0 MPEG-1 Layer 2 Codec(s) are Installed 44100 224 CBR 2

ALL I wanna do is put this and one more like it to a dvd for playback in a stand alone player.
The files DAR is 4:3 , how do I ensure I get a full screen picture on a 16:9 tv ?
When I ofer this file to dvdlab it refuse it , says : this i s not 11172-2 or 13818-2 video stream.
When I offer it to tmpgenc it says the GOP is too long.

I have succesfully run avi's via tmpgenc to dvd but am having real trouble with these mpegs , I thought mpeg2 is dvd format ? so why are these files harder to deal with ?
