i need to know how burn the free hd loader&what type
of media to use? if any1 knows

You just burn it to cd. I used Alcohol 120, didnt change any settings and burned it at 2x. I also used TDK. I dont think brand makes that much difference. You just burn it like a normal cd.

I tried it with Alcohol 120% and it can't even read from the hd loader cd. Any other backup software?

I never tried reading from the hdloader disk and I dont think you can. Theres a lot of protection on the disk. What people are talking about burning is the downloaded hdloader. Its the cracked one which you just burn directly. You can get it from suprnova.com and I suggest you get the new hdadvance version. It can install up to 200 gigs hard drives. Of course you need a mod to your ps2 to boot the backup.
