weird writing problem

I am using Nero 6 and whenever i want to do a quick copy (on the fly)
- first the buffers load to 99%
- then the read buffer gradually drops to 0%
- after that the write buffer drops to 0%
-> the read buffer loads again, and with that the write buffer loads again
and then writer writes until the read buffer is down to 0% again.. then the same happens over and over till the writing is finished
I know this is normal when you copy an audio cd, but it was just software..
does anyone have an idea how I can solve this?
