Has anyone had success putting hdloader on a dvd-r??

I have a chipped system and have hdloader on a cd-r and i've been enjoying using it. However it doesn't always boot up right away, and i'd feel better about it if it was on a dvd-r disc.

I've tried simply copying the files from the cd-r version, and burning those to a dvd-r but it hasn't worked.

When i try to boot up the dvd-r version i made, it'll goto a black screen for a few seconds, then it goes right into the sony browser, and shows my 2 memory cards. Then it goes immediately into the red screen of death.

Anyone have any advice....i think i read somewhere that there was specificly a hdloader dvd version? is that true?

thanks
