Hi All,

I recently aquired a PS2 (v5 - GH015 motherboard), all seemed to be working ok with it initially, so I deceided to chip it using a Judus (v5) modchip, I am an experienced mod-chipper so I proceeded to install the chip, all went well, no drama's etc..

Tested the PS2 - it came on, but wouldn't boot original or backups etc.., I disabled the modchip by removing the power connection, and re-tested - it then booted originals ok, as per normal procedure I checked every cable for a continuity with my multimeter, and to make sure they were in the correct place - all looked ok, but it still didn't work :(

In a last attempt, I re-routed the 3.3v connection to the alternative point on the PS2 motherboard - as per diagram on the Judus website, I believe doing this has fried something on the motherboard itself, as the PS2 comes on, the drive ejects/spins etc, the reset/eject buttons light up ok - but I get nothing but a BLACK SCREEN on the TV, I have checked all the internal fuses, removed the mod-chip and cleaned every connection to make sure there is nothing shorting, but still it does'nt work.

Does anyone have any idea's as to what I can try next ?
