I want to burn a avi so i already converted to dvd using winavi converter. Now i have nero 6 so when i try to burn at the end it says burn sucessful buy when i open the dvd-rw it is empty. Whats wrong.

Need more info. Could you post a Nero Log? What exactly are you doing with Nero when you are burning. Nero has two or three ways to burn so that would be a good place to start.

Also when i burn SVCD on cd-rw it works fine. Here is the log for that.

Nothing appears out of the ordinary other than your DMA is not enabled:

Go into your Device Manager and change this. Lots of posts elsewhere on this. Google for it.
Nero thinks it has burned the disc, no error messages, etc. I would probably try some -RW media.
