Believe it or not Walmart Canada has Maxell DVD's on sale 25pak spindle for $12.97. Its a special to celebrate the 10 anniversary of Walmert in Canada. Sale ends October 22.

I stocked up on 10 DVD+R today.

I purchased one package of these, mainly to test and read
the DVD info. They are produced by CMC. No real bargin
there. You get what you pay for. I personally will stick
with my Ritek and Rydata disks that I have purchased.
They have been perfect for me and the only coasters I have burnt are my own fault. Can't go wrong with them.

Dont matter now I guess since they are all sold out.

I have never known Maxell to use CMC. I think I have been very lucky. I have been buying them all year long from FutureShop, Best Buy and SAMS Club and they always come up as RICOHJPNR01. I guess its all about who manufactures them. Mine I got from Walmart in Toronto came up as RICOHJPNR01 with both DVD Identifier and DVDInfoPro.

I bought my one package here in London Ontario at
Wal-Mart Argyle Mall and they came up as CMC. You got
lucky. I didn't. Have a great day. Zeide.

I bought a 50 pack of Maxell DVD-Rs at Futureshop and with DVD Identifier it shows up as Ritek discs. The 25 pack I bought from Walmart showed up as Ricoh's. I think I got lucky both times.
