I need to find the region 1 hack code for Philips 612 DVD player. Can anybody help please?

Region code hack trick for enabling MP3 playback for DVD 612

With the remote control operate following buttons:

PLAY - 1 - 5 - 9

It inputs following code:

0-2-8-0-0-0-1-2-8-2-5-6

10 seconds waits, then the appliance shortly from the network separates

Now, the DVD 612 plays also MP3 CD´s

Region code hack I have composed a manual to apply the RC6 regionfree hack without an expensive One4all remote. It's a cheap IR transmitter, easy to assemble.

Region code or Macrovision hack

Very easy to hack region, but no hack for macrovision. Only way to get rid of macrovision seems to be by chip/hardwarehack.
