Swap magic DVD 2.0 Fliptop

I just bought a new ps2 V9/v10. I put a fliptop on it today and loaded swap magic DVD 2.0 on it. The insert disc screen came up and I put the DVD backup game in and hit X and nothing happened. Tried many games and all the something. I know this games are good because I used them in my old ps2. I had a slidcard in it. Do I need a different version of DVD swap magic? Is their one any help would be great.

My friend has the same problem but on the insert screen sometime it turns red. Looking for the answer here but have not found it. Will post if I find out something.
