I was looking at some Blank DVD's and wanted to get everyones opinion on these specific ones.. http://store.yahoo.com/meritline/ritek-ridata-4x-dvd-r-plus-blank-media.html
I was thinking of buying a 100 pack but I just dont want to buy crap dvd's. From what I have read the "Branded" dvds are better quality. Am I wrong by assuming that? Please let me know how this company is and how these specific dvds are.

Off hand, I would say that the least expensive of the two is the way to go. Ritek is a highly favored brand on this site.

Do you want +R discs or the -R discs? Seems to me that the -R discs have greater compatability with a wider range of stand alone DVD players. I prefer the -R format myself.

I have a Dual Layer +R burner.. So thats why I am looking at the +R dvd's. I have had no problems with playing them in any of my DVD Players although I have been using Verbatim +R's up to now... So you guys both think the ones from Newegg are the best?

The DL (8.9G) come with +R only, but the media you ask is single layer media (4.7G). Check your burner spec again , most of DL burner will take both +R and -R 4.7G media.

If you burner can take both -/+ media, then I refer -R more than +R.
