Hi I'm new to all this stuff so please if anyone could run me by with what I would need to get the hdloader working with my ps2 which has nothing installed in it at all,do I need a network adapter and etc . also what harddrives work well and fit into the ps2 so I can get a cheap one from newegg. Or If i could use a 30gb western digital drive that I have lying around? Any help would be wonderfull :)

your western digital HD should work fine with your ps2, but since its only 30gb it wont hold many games with hd loader. You should consider getting a bigger hard drive tho, I have a 80gb maxtor and its awsome!

Ok I've figured everything out only problem is If I have ps2 game images on my pc can I just transfer them to the hd and connect the hd to my ps2 via network adpater?
