I want to play backup games, would this be the best way to do it without hardware modding?

Also are you allowed to link to sites that sell this stuff on this forum? Cause I'd kinda like someone to recommend a good site to buy them from in the UK. Since I don't know which sites to trust that are listed on the Swap Magic Site.
