how can i do this, i went to play starwars battlefront and it said "authenticating" and wouldnt let me play
matrix infiniy modded ps2 (broken, burnt out PS1 fuse)
xbox(freshly softmodded with krazies)xbmc dash. Stock HDD.
www.norcalmods.com did my ps2 mod, cheap n fast:)

bitchin:) i had no idea it was so easy :)
so, does it matter what game i use for my disk id?
will it work on all games i use?
(i tried swap magic dvd it just gave me a bunch of 0's and 9c so i figured it wouldnt work)

you have to use an ORIGINAL online game with dnas on it to get the id.

okay i used my eyetoy disk:) since it was handy lol.
it works GREEAATTT ive never had the intention to play online til:
1. i began to play star wars battlefront and saw it had online play
2. i learned playing live on ps2 was free
3. a kid sold me a network adapter for 10 bux:)
ive been missing out;)

You need the internet of coarse (broadband preferably), but to play online with the ps2 is free.

i think there are a couple games online that arent free right? like final fantisy x2? no games that id ever care about :)
