DMS3 Inquiry

I have a DMS3 installed on my V7/8 console. When I turn on my PS2, without pressing any buttons on the controller, it loads to the PS2 screen with the 3d boxes and what not. Is there supposed to be a DMS3 screen or something? My PS2 loads backups of PS2 dvd games and cd games. I guess everything supposedly works fine.

Can someone provide the link, if it exists, to games that need to be patched/fixed before working on a DMS3 modded PS2. I have read that to play online you need a DNAS patcher. I dont plan on playing online, but if you could inform me where to get the tools/guide to do this I would be grateful. I havent tried backing up NFL Street or NFSU yet, but for EA games, do I need to patch them. Thanks in advance to any helpers.

no there is no (dms) screen unless you install the explorer . there is a dnas patcher but i dont think the mods would want it posted here and i refuse to link the site that has it becase they are a bunch of lamers .

If I want to back up SW Battlefront, Burnout3, NFSU, NFL Street... do I need to patch them. I am reading that some games (EA) need to be patched. I cant get patching straight. DNAS patch is for online, which I dont care about. What other kinds of patches are there or should I even worry.

I dont plan on going online with these, and people have reported burning a game w/o the dnas patch and the game works 100%. Then when they patch the game on the second copy, the copy isnt 100% cause of glitches and what not.
