Hi i am new here and new to this ps2 boot disc and stuff. I would use search but i dont know what to search for.

First do u need to have a modchip if you use the boot disc. (I dont want to get one)

Second What boot disc is good to use.

Third can i download a boot disc and if possible where??

1. no, but you do need a fliptop or slide card
2. swap magic
3. you cant download a boot disc that will work

Also i am thinking of getting the new PS2 will the boot discs work on that and will i have to do anything diff to load it??
