DVD XCopy PC Pauses

I used DVD XCopy Platinum to Backup my DVD movies to use them as I travel on the road. The problem is that they play fine on my home DVD player, but when I use them on my Laptop, they stutter every 5 to 8 seconds for approximately 1 second. I've used both Windows Media Player and InterVideo WinDVD 4 and it makes no difference. If I use the original of the DVD, it is fine. I thought that there would be a Buffer setting that I could increase to prevent this, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my pc, until I upgraded to PowerDvd version 5.0. I haven't had any problems since. Hope it helps you out...
