Will DVD+R backups work with swapmagic?

I was wondering if DVD+R backups will work on my PS2(see below). I have a HP 300i burner and all it will burn is DVD+R. Any answer or comments will be greatly appreciated.

some v4 ps2's will work with dvd+r some v4's won't, for your best chance of getting it to work would recomend that you try quality media
