hey all,

I have noticed that all the "new" games that I buy, and try to back up, do not work, they will all get that f***ing dirty disc error. ive gone through about 9 or 10 Dvd-r's already. The media works, because it has worked great for all my other games that I backed up. I am using Flash fxp, qwix, Nero6.
so far I had this error with Crash Twinsanity
Fable and Leisure suit larry (gotta love the polyester dude)
I also flashed the bios to the newest one out there. but nothing seems to work. I would really want some info on this since I really hate having my nephews messing with my expensive original discs when they come visit.

Fable is known to have dirty disk issues...and LSL has a patch out for it.

there is a problem with craxtion and some new games.

Best to use qwix or xxxiso and see how that goes. I backed up fable first go with no errors.

I never use craxtion. Although out of desperation I did try it on my Larry game but still no go.

Are you talking about the patch for Larry in craxtion or is there a separate patch that I can get?

there is a seperate patch available for larry.....the place I saw it posted doesnt have it anymore,but its out there.

I came upon this site while searching for the same fix for LSL backed up on DVD. I have the nude patch, not sure if it works cause I get DDE. If anyone has the fix for the DDE, I am willing to trade w/nude patch.
