cant open anything else then general in settings on dc++!!

when i open settings in dc++ general comes up and when i click on download, sharing nothing happens!
what have i done wrong and what should i do??

Not sure if anyone has replied? I tried DC++ 404 with windows 98 & had no end of probs.....Switched to 401 and have been having no probs since? Checkout your system `v` DC++ options.
