Hello!

i'm a bit rubbish at this dvd malarky, but i want to grab a small clip of a few seconds from a dvd video disk. the prolem is, all the file splitters split the vob file based on size. i want to grab a particular piece of the video. i've got premiere 6.5, my computer is not good enough for premere 7. please don't tell me i have to rip the entire vob file to avi then edit it in premiere. my computer won't handle a file that big!!!

is there anyway i can just press record while it's playing if ya get what i mean. it's destined for the web so it doesn't need to be very good quality.
