MPEG video files to DVD disc in Nero.

Hi All,

I have Nero 6 and i am trying to copy a mpeg to a dvd or vcd or anything that will work so i can view it on my dvd player or on my ps2. It works on my PC but nothing else, can someone let me know what i am doing wrong please? Do i need other software to help me so i can view it on my dvd players? I have been reading for days now and it is all very confusing now. I thought Nero 6 was good but i can't even make a playable DVD or VCD yet. It is very frustrating.
