I am trying to make simple standard DVD video discs with a menu. The content is one-hour episodes of a tv series. I can fit two of these episodes per 4.7 GB DVD. First, I record the episodes to DVD-R using my set-top recorder. I "finalize" the disc so it becomes DVD-Video compliant. Since I do not like the editing capabilities of the set-top device, I go to the PC so I can cleanly cut out commercials, make chapters, a menu, and then do a burn of the finished product. Using Ulead DVD Movie Factory, there is an option to capture from a video_ts folder. With my methods, I can capture one or both of two "scenes" (each scene represents a 60 minute episode). When I do this, each episode is split by Movie Factory into two mpg files, for a total of four. I think this is because for each episode, there are two VOB files. Trouble is, I then end up with four titles on the DVD menu in the Ulead software, but I only want two titles (two episodes). What can I do to make this happen?
