Can I use a CDRW/DVD combo drive w/ Shrink?????

I've been having problems using Shrink, I can NEVER get past the backup stage where it encodes the DVD and saves it to the hard drive. Every time I get an error:

Copy Protection error, The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

I get stuck here every time no matter what DVD I try to copy. My computer has 2 drives, the LG combo w/ the CDRW/DVD and a Lite On CDRW/DVDRW burner.

I can't figure out why I get this error and thought maybe it's because I don't have a drive that is just a plain DVD drive.
Do you think this could be my problem??????

Your problem lies in the protection all original dvd's have on them. Download DVD Decrypter to work around your problem, then use DVD Shrink.
