my divx files are to big 700MB how do i or what do i need to make divx files smaller without splitting

They are not too big - 700MB is just perfect :)
If you wish, however, to learn how to make smaller DivX files, well that is a whole different matter...

thanks..the files was too big as i was using movie factory 3..i have changed now to dvdsanta its working great ....ill try AUTOGK..IF i need to- thanks again.

Oh, you're converting it to DVD and the resulting file is too big?
That's different, AutoGK won't help you much with that, LoL
(Since this is the DivX encoding forum I assumed you were encoding DivX :)
What do you think about DVDSanta, is it working good?
I do that with my NeroVision Express 2 SE, the result is okay.

I have use Nero Express as well, but I found Sonic MyDVD very good, it won't put any transitions in, but it give very very good quality wise results.

I like it although it doesn't have many controls just basic trim.

yep...divx to dvd, dvdsanta is the best that iv tried its VERY simple to use..all the rest iv tried the sound was always out of sync at or towards the end of the movie,NORMAL..AVI FILES to dvd was good thou, that was with movie factory disc creator 3 ---the file i tried with dvdsanta was xvid ...is xvid & divx the same type of file?...im pretty new to this stuff, if not i will have to try a divx file......K
