Okay, so I searched and Googled to no avail, so apologies if this has been covered, but if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it greatly.

I'm intending to use the Slide Card method on an unmodded PS2, but I can't get a straight answer as to which boot discs are usable. If someone could confirm the following:

1. Action Replay Max will NOT work to boot backups.
2. DVD Region X WILL work to boot backups.

Is this accurate?

I've heard GameShark or Action Replay 2 are the only ones that work, but neither of them seem to be readily availabe in the U.K.. The only tutorial I could find online said that DVD Region X would work, but didn't give details how to use it.

If so, how do I boot backups using Region X?
