I have vob files from various sources which are songs. I join them together using ifoedit. The dvd-r or dvd-rw plays fine on the PC and my laptop and does not freeze.

however trying to play it on a standard dvd player - toshiba, denon, cyberhome, Coby, Sony displays one of the following erratic behavior. It plays a little and suddenly jumps into the middle of the song chapter, or it freezes, or in some player like sony it just keep toggling thru the chapters in an endless cycle.

i tried on pioneer elite it plays, but to go to the next chapter one has to push the chapter number.

any suggestions or ideas?
