I am planning to get Pioneer DVR-108 16X DVD±R/RW for around $70. (I am also considering NEC ND-3500A 16x DVD±RW)
I just wanted to know what DVD burning software and media have been successful for anyone who have this burner. I have a fliptop with SwapMagic 2.0.

I know there are a lot of posts about recommendations for media, etc... but...
I had a DVD burner in the past and I went by what people recommended. I found that I had a lot of failures and wasted DVD-R's. Then when I asked help from people who had the same DVD burner and went by what they use, I had 100% sucess. So this is why I ask. Hopefully this time I can avoid wasting 20 DVD-R's trying so many things.

Any other DVD burner drive recommendations and what media and software to use with them would be nice as well.

1. get the pioneer
2. DVD Decrypter and Nero work fine
3. use ritek media
