I'm fairly new to ps2 burning, so I've trawled these pages for info on burning, and I've read so much I'm more confused than before i started, so I hope someone can answer my questions,.
I just got swap magic 3, dvd and cd rom, I have a 8x dvd +r -r writer. i need to know.
what are the best programs for burning
ISo images
bin only images
Bin with cue images.
what is the best media, dvd minus or plus.
i have datawrite dvd r- 8x grey, are these ok.
I have used dvd decryptor to rip from disc, is this the best one to write them back with, is there anything that needs doing to the image first, ie patching

I have Nero and fireburner, i get on really well with these 2 programs, are they both ok to use for this, if so what settings are needed for Nero.
can Nero be used to rip, or is dvd decryptor the best, also is DVD decryptor ok for cd as well as DVD.
Also will clone dvd be any good bearing in mind I have swap magic and not a modchip.
I know the answers for all these questions have probably been posted countless times before, but I imagine a lot of people have a similar setup to me, so it would be nice to see it all in one thread.

with the software you posted you have:-
for iso images use either nero or dvd decrypter

for your bin/cue use nero

for your bin only create your own cue file and burn with nero

i personaly prefer to use dvd-r discs as i find they have great compatability with all versions of ps2, also i'm not a big fan of dataweite media

So that I use DVD+R disc(s) thats why the game(s) isnt working maybe :S?
