hmm, i have a good idea. you know how they arnt saying there will be a halo 3, but they arnt denying it? well they admit there will be a halo movie, so maybe it picks up where halo 2 left off.

As I have already said the Halo Movie starts a few years before the events that were depicted in Halo CE, it does not carry on from Halo 2.

What i think is that they should start the movie from the book series you know the fall of reach and so forth so they can show how the master chief got trained and everything

Ok, they are doing some background into how the masterchief was chosen and how he was trained. Then they are moving onto the events that were in Halo CE i.e. landing on the first halo, The Pilar of Autumn. That is what they are doing. Fact.

ok im pretty sure the script is fake. and if it was real bungie would still deny it. and i know nothing is perfect yet wouldnt ya think bungie wouldnt let something like the script of halo 3 to leak out. besides has ne of the rumored info that supposedly came from bungie ever been real? like about halo 2 and other stuff. if ne of it has been real it wasnt something big. Bungie is a good company that wouldnt let something that important leak through. besides it has prolly been change 100 times since that was made.
another thing is although it maty look proffesional in spots doesnt mean it is. and papa_face u seem to know how bungie writes so if u wanted to u could muster up the creativity to write ur own halo 3 script and say its real.

Yes that?s correct; I could have just written that, I didn?t of course. However there are details in the script that are not mentioned in the books or in the Halo games. We aren?t just talking about a few new and detailed things here; we are talking masses of new info.

Well Bungie isn?t exactly going to want it to be leaked, but if something is leaked they can?t stop it. You can?t say that Bungie wouldn?t let it be leaked, what you really mean is they would try their hardest to keep it top secret. However unfortunately this is practically impossible to do, everything has faults and flaws.
As for the changing of the script if it was real. As i said in my above post they wouldn?t want to admit to it being leaked because of their reputation, not to mention the spoilers that are in the script. Therefore it isn?t a good idea for Bungie to admit that it is a valid script, hence why they denied it.
P.S I'm not saying that this script is "real". I dont think it is the real script, but thats my own opinion. However I also have to accept that there is a possibilty that the script is "real", I guess im just giving two sides to the "story".

it was a really good script i would like to play some parts in it it really explains alot who ever wrote it has a really good imagination i dont like the end bit though whith cortana and the arbiter and stuff

Well nobody is going to play the Arbiter because the movie doesnt cover that story. Dont bank on the MC being played by anyone famous as you wouldnt even see his face, so a famous person would really be a waste of time. It is possible that the voice of the masterchief which is Steve Downes will play his part.

papa_face they probably will base the movie on the book not the game because they are so different which would u rather a movie on u running around shooting stuff or of the book which explains alot more and in the book you get to see his face several times

they are going to base it off of the book and not the game but they are going to show segments from the game. my auntie is on the development team.

Trust me, they are doing a short peice from the first book, "The Fall of Reach" and then moving onto the game. However you can say that they are only doing the books because the games are based on the books. :)
P.S Dont say your auntie is on the developing team because most likely she isnt, especially with you being a Newbie. Dont talk about this again because it only gets people mad.

Are you being serious, uh, please dont post here then unless you go and learn what halo is. Thanks.
I think they will get an actor in an MC suit (no one famous) but use steve's voice. Bet they can auction off that suit after the movie as well.
As for the game, I'd really like to see a longer campain mode and the apperance of the ,or some of, the remaining spartans. Mainly kelly, linda or fred.

Its strange because in the Halo 2 Manual it says that the MC is the only remaining Spartan, however as we know there are atleast 4 remaining. :S. I guess Bungie are the only ones that can tell us why that is...

one other thing on the first level on halo1 isnt there a cryo chamber just like the one that mc was in in alocked room b/c i heard rumors that you could get in there and see another mc walking around you think its true?

There are 8 Spartans currently alive and in service (kinda anyway). MC (obviously) Frederic (who didnt die in a covenant ship), Linda, William, Kelly (abducted by Halsey) and also there are 3 away on distant missions. We should see an appearance by them in Halo 3.

good point papa_face i fogot all about the others and i think the start of the halo movie should be when the spartans land on reach and deffend it from the covenant then it should show keyes destroying the capital ship then jumping to halo the it should follow the flood book
