Many thanks to all the fixers, a quick question, does this version work on the replay PVR? A friend wants me to update his, but I would rather know the info before attempting it?

Thanks again dudes

If you are referring to the Replay with the HDD then yest it should.

Brian's original post stated the following:

"I tested this on the 910 & 913 Replay Lites and it worked fine."

Hi Guys

Flashed a replay lite with the new image no probs at all, then flashed a Replay Box C100 PVR with the same image and its now not working.

Started the flash, and it had 515 blocks transferred no probs

display showed d.000 to d.100

then display ran a f.000

then at the end the display ran a --:-- rolling

then display showed 6ood, which I assumed meant good

Turned off the receiver and when turned back on again it displayed "Boot" and a green light came on and stayed on for about a minute then no display.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Had the box got 913 on it before you started?

Did you wait long enough at the end of the flash before disconnecting the box?

wow, thanks for the quick reply Gman, yes the software version was 913, now its stating it is version 910, bit confused now. I left it for about four to five minutes, cos once it displayed 6ood I went and made a cuppa before I switched it off and tried it.

I have not upgraded a PVR but Brian has done it & it worked.

Can you establish a connection to the box now & try to flash again?

Yes I can connect to the box again, I will have another go later and leave it for a bit longer, if that don't work I will post again and hope that Brian picks it up.

Thanks Gman again

Hi Gman\Brian

Re-flashed with the new image and left it for 30mins, however still no good, I could still connect so I re-flashed again and overwrote with 742, and now it seems ok as far as starting up and the display is back, however should I go straight for the new image and try again or the next logical image up from 742?

Thanks

Hi guys I'm having a bit of trouble with my replay lite, I tried to upgrade to the new firmware but I have gotten the "red light problem", I've tried force flashing it too but all I seem to be gettin is the stb link trying to make a connection when I go to upgrade it to sw 7.42a (basically the screen re3mains the same with no movement). I've unticked maintain user data but was wondering if may be the problem could be the sw i'm trying to force with I went into eamo's library but could only find a sw called: QSTPVR_CXL_Ver742A_up.zip is this the right one??

Anyway guys I appreciate any help you may have with this!!

i flashed my replay with the 091208 file when it came out it never updated so i put the codes in manually. everything worked fine for a few days and then then the menu wouldn't work and the picture kept skipping and i was getting a bad signal message. i flashed again with the original 910 file and it worked great but only for a few days and the same thing happened. i have just flashed with the 281208 file but still getting bad signal message. anyone an suggestions??? ps: Happy New Year
