My DVD Writer does not read the disk

Good Day,

I have the Die Hard trilogy & I'm trying to back it up. All the movies worked exept the firts one. My DVD Writter says NO DISC when I tried it with SHRINK or DECRYPTER. The Disc is like new, I dont see any marks or scratches ! What could it be ?
