Ok, I have a no solder mod for my ps2.

While ejecting the dvd loader dvd, the light was the orangish whiteish color. I hit the reset button on accident, and then it died.

I took it apart to see if anything came loose and it seemed fine. but still nothing happens. Even tried taking out the no solder chip. still doesn't boot up. I can see one fuse and it looks ok. but don't know for sure.

I know someone will ask this question. What model?

I got the same problem. They say that older ps2 got problem alot. The only time that it happen to me is when IT's winter. Is that sound wared to you? One way to fix this is to turn off the main power off,then turn it back on. reset the ps2 and you ar egood to go.

Tried that numerous times, didn't work. I found out theres like 15 fuses in this damn thing, Would it be recommended to take it to a shop to have them fix it, or do it myself?
