Hey i got dvd decrypter and wrote the iso file to my hardrive, now im trying to burn it and it wont recognize my dvd discs (im using JVC DVD-R 1-4x, 4.7gb 120 min discs). my burner of choice is BENQ DW1600, any ideas??? thanks

Thats because its a +R only burner.

i swore that it was a - burner, is there any way of checking this, and is it going to make much of difference if i use + r discs?

It says here that you need to upgrade the firmware for it to burn dvd-r.

Get the B7H9 firmware.

Use that to make it a 1620, then use the real 1620 firmware off the benq site. A new version just came out today.
